I got that shade in one of their bundle boxes and literally never reach it and when I do I’m so dissapointed with my eye makeup that I have to top it up with something else but everyone else seem to love it so idk what’s wrong with me :D strange they would discontinue that shade clofairy 3 yr. And the empty 4-pan compact costs C$10 (I think they used to cost double that!)Īnd the eye shadows went down again this week (I have really been digging into these lately):īut, do not fear, since I have back-ups of all the colours except for All That Glitters.Veluxe Pearl Eye Shadow is a pressed powder eye shadow that delivers intense, saturated colour with a remarkable metallic-frost finish. MAC Pro Palette eye shadow refills cost C$8 ($6 USD) each (which is a fairly recent price drop, before March 2016, they used to cost C$12 / $10 USD each). I think this is the first time I ever hit pan on a full-sized eye shadow! OMG! □ This is what it looked like when I hit pan last week: 4.9 of 42 reviews All That Glitters - beige with gold pearl Amber Lights - Peachy-brown with shimmer (frost) Antiqued. u/clofairy 1 year ago MAC All that Glitters - substitute needed Question Can anyone recommend a substitute for the discontinued shade All that glitters please I saw online that Naked Lunch is more frosted which can look too bright on hooded eyes. Last week, I achieved what I thought was never going to happen: I hit pan on PATINA! That was one of the first MAC eye shadows I ever bought. I actually prefer the older style empty palette as they’re slimmer and more compact. I should also mention that the MAC Pro Palette I use to house these 4 refill pan shadows is the older style, on the left: It would be remiss if I do not mention MAC Wedge in this post, since I incorporate it as part of my daily look as the transitional shade to blend out along the crease. All that glitters is not gold is a popular expression that applies to so many things in life, and the world of data recovery software is no exception. □Įven within this quad, I do have slight preference for Patina and Satin Taupe over the other 2 colours. It was tempting to do some comparison swatches (especially of Patina and Satin Taupe, since I likely own 3 dupes for them each) but I’ll save that for another post. Each of these 4 colours appear on my Top 10 MAC eye shadow list – so that tells you how much I love them! And Patina is more of a sandy beige rather than a taupe. All That Glitters is more of a peachy pink shade, not beige. I don’t think the MAC descriptions are all that accurate for All That Glitters and Patina. Here are the official MAC descriptions for each shade:Īll That Glitters: Beige w/gold pearl But the other 3 are still readily available! This is a MAC Pro Palette that I chose each colour myself, they are: All That Glitters, Patina, Satin Taupe, Romp: The show pitted eight jewellers against one another across six episodes in a Great British Bake Off -style formula, culminating yesterday evening. Yay, it’s finally a focus on the MAC eye shadow quad! □ I’m not supposed to pick a favourite out of my Project Pan items (because the other items would get jealous) but I’m going to admit that I love these eye shadows just a teeny tiny more. 19th May 2021 0 The final episode of BBC Two’s jewellery talent competition show All That Glitters aired last night, finally unveiling the winner as 24-year-old Hugo Johnson. ![]()
